speculum
The speculum is a special instrument that is used for gynecological examinations of the vagina. Many of these instruments consist of two metal pieces that can be widened for better examination.
In order to avoid an unpleasant effect, the instruments are warmed up before usage. Of course this instrument is sterilized after examination.
